Viksu -project is part of the KESSU Project, which is a co-operative project of Tekes between Department of Information Processing Science in University of Oulu, Helsinki University of Technology, Buscom, Nokia Mobile Phones, Nokia Networks and Teamware Group Oy.
Viksu is a 3-year (2000-2002) research project. The target of the research is the user-centred product development in Teamware. The project is developing concept descriptions and technical tools for that user-centred product development. The project is actively cooperating with Lissu-project, which is a project run by Oulu University and also a sub-project of KESSU.
During its 3rd year Viksu is working on a Virtual Project Room -concept that describes the collaborative group work in both computerized and conventional environment.
