The MaPIT research project addresses the challenges of distributed software development projects and aims at finding solutions and useful practices for managing and working in globally distributed projects.
Software Business and Engineering Institute (SoberIT) of Helsinki University of Technology organizes a seminar presenting the newest research findings and latest trends on how to manage globally distributed software development projects. During the seminar the experts from IBM, Gapgemini, and Vaisala discuss their experiences and future expectations on global software development. Our special theme is: How to apply agile development methods to globally distributed projects? In the seminar we will publish a new practical workbook aimed at managers of distributed projects: “Practical Guide to Managing Distributed SWD Projects”.
